Alyssa Riley, PT OCS
Alyssa Riley is an Elmira native and graduated from Elmira Free Academy. She attended Gannon University and attained a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Physical Therapy Degree in 2003. While at Gannon, she was a four year varsity swimmer and club/varsity water polo player.
Alyssa moved to San Antonio, Texas after graduation and worked for nearly two years in an occupational medical center. She attended several continuing education courses in Houston to include myofascial release and shoulder rehabilitation. Alyssa also worked frequently with patients requiring work conditioning and pre-employment performance evaluations.
Alyssa was previously employed by St. Joseph’s Hospital in Elmira since January of 2006. During this time, she was responsible for in-patient and out-patient wound care. In addition, Alyssa attended several courses through the Institute of Physical Art. These include Cervical-Thoracic Integration, Functional Orthopedics I and Functional Orthopedics II. Alyssa believes that physical therapy intervention should be a balance of exercise and manual treatment.
Alyssa and Marc reside in Elmira with their sons, Evan, Cameron, Owen, and Hayden.
